$40 for shipping? Fuck that. I’m going to Amazon.

Wow, they really really want you to spend another $47.01 in merchandise.

You’re right, it would probably be just as expensive to buy more bullshit at that point.

Dude that could fit in a letter.

Part of me wants to order it, just to see how big the box it comes in is.

Amazon is a wonderful thing.

I’ll probably check to see if I can get a splitter at any local stores. If not, I’ll order this when I order my GoPro.

Not sure 'bout where you're at, but I know there are some Radio Shacks that still have their doors open. They likely have splitters and are selling everything at 50%-70% off.

I’m in Canada. No Radioshack for at least ten years.

The only way Radioshack resides in Canadian memory is through one line in a Matthew Good Band song. Otherwise, it’s like they were never here.

NCIX can help.

Yeah... some sites are absolutely terrible with shipping. But even with Amazon you have to be careful with some 3rd parties. And given you’re in Ontario like me, sometimes Amazon.ca is a better bet than Amazon.com. One time I was getting a variety of things I wanted that cost around $100... and the shipping charges were $150....
Deleted all the items, completely changed around the order so that what I was buying cost a bit more (around $120), but the shipping charges were down to $20-$30.
FYI... for an audio splitter, I suggest you check out your local Dollarama or other dollar store before buying something like this online. For example... I have a cable to charge my iPhone... $2 at Dollarama... triple the cost everywhere else. Can probably buy it for $1 online, but the shipping will be at least $7. Or failing that, go to Canada Computers if you have one local to you who also sell an audio/mic splitter for around $10:

I wish my us passport wasnt up for renewal we could just go to Ogdensburg. Would cost $25. ($20 in gas $5 in handling charges at kinect).

Yeah, I always use the Canadian sites. Canada Computers was my first idea, but the closest one is on the other side of town. Thanks for a direct link to the product, though.

Hah, not a bad idea. By the way, what time is the shindig on Friday night? I might go.

10 or so. It’s hit or miss though noone was there last week for some reason. Not sure if thats because two weeks ago security showed up or what.

Canada computers ships stuff too.

True. Also, no stores have it in stock on location. What the dicks. Best Buy and The Source didn’t have it either. Also, fuck Best Buy twice as much as Razer.

why is tha thing $16.99 to begin with?
![]() 05/27/2015 at 16:51 |

Because Razer.

Yeah... Best Buy and Tigerdirect can both be very expensive for little things like this.
Those two stores are only good for their specials... like getting a printer dirt cheap. Just don’t buy the ink/toner from them... LOL.

I ordered a micro SD card and the box it came in was about the size of a shoebox for boots. It was ridiculous.
